Many chiropractic clinics specialize in a number of ways.  The doctor may have an interest in sports, so they may focus their practice on caring for athletes who sustain injuries while training or competing in their sport of vocation or avocation.  Others specialize in treating conditions such as auto accidents, headaches or disc problems.  Another way to focus is to utilize a specific technique that you may have heard of such as "Gonstead", "Activator", "BEST", or a whole host of other descriptors that can be used to describe how the doctor practices.

While I have taken advanced training in Functional Neurology, Auto accident treatment and radiology (x-ray analysis), we have chosen to have a family practice rather than focus on one approach or type of injury.  Over the years, great joy has come from caring for and checking newborn infants to make sure they are subluxation free from the birth process and all along the spectrum to the other end which entails helping senior citizens stay in their homes as long as possible by helping their ambulation, balance and organ function stay healthy.
